The Terminals interview, from Opprobrium back in the mid-1990s, is back online for archival purposes. Maybe I'll add some graphics at some stage to make it look a bit nicer, but don't hold your breath.

For Sale / Michel Henritzi / Fukuoka Rinji CD Le jardin Bizarre

Michel Henritzi | Fukuoka Rinji

Le Jardin Bizarre

CD – silkscreened gatefold cover / ltd to 200 copies

Le Jardin Bizarre » (the odd garden) is the follow up to the album “Outside Darkness”, released in 2011 by PSF. It is a hollow album, stretching out long rests in which a sticky melancholy, an infinite sadness amplifies itself. 6 tracks dark as so many gardens – gardens seen through night, 6 shades of black, 6 colours of silence. While “Outside Darkness” appeared like a shadow cast over Fukushima, “Le Jardin Bizarre” is it’s elegy. Disquieting calligrams made of tight, feverish strings, like black ink lines on a blank white page. Melodies as manifold as so many little pieces of night music, perforated by devouring rests, tunes dying in the echo. “Le Jardin Bizarre” is an asphyxiated, modern blues album -  Mono No Aware or the melancholy of our times.

The Hijokaidan Story

by T. Mikawa (1-3) & Jojo Hiroshige (4-7)

The inside story of Japan’s longest-running and most legendary (if not the most prolific) noise group, Hijokaidan, was serialized in G-Modern between 1992 and 1995. The story was begun by long-standing member, Incapacitant and Japan’s leading noise collector, T. Mikawa, and continued by founding member, Alchemy boss, and expert on Japanese baseball trading cards, Jojo Hiroshige. The story is still incomplete, though Jojo promises to continue it someday.

Some news about a new LP coming out in March (2013) with new tracks from the Dead C - well actually old tracks, as it's 4 unreleased recordings from their archives. The LP is a split with a group called Rangda, on Ba Da Bing Records. Here's some details from the label press release:
The Dead C’s tracks are a gem of a find. Nestled in the back corner of their archives, the band uncovered recordings they completely forgot existed. These are tracks that were under consideration for their seminal album EUSA Kills. The loose majesty found on that album comes to the fore here, with a group finding their wings right as they are set aflame.

There's a Soundcloud stream available here: https://soundcloud.com/badabingrecords/sets/dead-c-rangda/s-kTbeD

Well, a few years later and who knows what's happened to the original poster, but the Garbage and the Flowers "Eyes Rind As If Beggars" has just recently been reissued, on the Bo'Weavil label.

Making a few changes here...the various interviews with Hijokaidan, Fushitsusha, etc, will be back up at some stage in the near future, if anyone happens to be looking for them.
