noise store in Japan
« on: November 08, 2007, 09:25:10 PM »
Hi All,
I' ve just discover this forum. It "sounds" great.
I'm running a new and small (very small) noise label in France and I'm looking for a good store in Japan to send my products. My label has a dump-it-yourself philosophy so I do not need to receive money in return (eventually we can exchange records).
By the way, I'm looking for artists who might be interested to collaborate with me.
You can find more information here : www.myspace.com/lesdisques71
thanks.

You might try NeDs in Tokyo:

They're the only noise-dedicated shop that comes immediately to mind.

There are probably a few more that are mail-order only. Japanoise, for example:

Or Gravity Swarm:

Un compatriote, et auvergnat en plus !

I know about Spliff in Clermont-Ferrand, I didn't know there was some noise stuff available.
I did some kind of weird stuff here http://www.myspace.com/thegeekconcept
I'm not making any advert, but it's just rare to find noiseheads in the region.
(oh and listen to my Part 2 if you're interested, I'm not really proud of the first one)  :P

About record shops, I wish I could speak japanese (sigh). It seems to be very obscure records, though...
