Yes, the 2007 UNIVIVE-014: Double Heads - Standard [6CD] is a reissue of
the 2005 UNIVIVE-003/004: Double Heads - Limited [6CDR].
The CDR version was:
   Double Heads [4CDR]
+ Black Rainbow [2CDR]
+ an individually #'d  (stamp usually smudged) slipcase.
It was also more expensive than the current version....

You should be able to order from PSF via the label - but they will charge postage on non-label albums, rather than just the $4 insurance on label releases.

I have a question about the Ethan Mousike Video. Someone send me a copy on DVD, but it's just nearly 90 mins long. The covers says 140 mins. Is the information on the cover wrong or do i have an incomplete copy? Otherwise it's a great to see the live in action. How long runs the 1994 Final Era DVD? I plan to order it soon. The quality is ok?

The Ethan Mousike or Cable Hogue VHS (1992) was 140mins.

At 2 hours, the credits end and some synchronised video footage
recommences for 2 mins - perhaps from the same session which comprises
the last pre-credits segment, a 30 mins professionally-shot /edited rendition of
"The Last One" (it would be missing if your copy only goes for 90mins).
After this, the last 19mins or so, features another version of "The Last One"
(probably from the late '70's) with no footage...

UNIVIVE-016 the so-called soundtrack of said video is discussed on the previous
pages of this thread (i'll try to make a detailed post of its contents in a couple of weeks)

As for 1994 live video, the Univive version is now deleted but the Ignuitas
is still available.... it was discussed in more detail here:
http://www.noise.as/forum/index.php?topic=99.msg544
(there have been at least 3 different versions available on DVD or DVD-R over the years)

Thanks for your help.
On my copy there is the 30 mins version of "The Last One". I was just suspicious because there is a sudden stop of the video at min 46, the sound still goes further. The end is ok, there are the credits and the 2 mins segmenr. But, ok one day I might get a complete version. I missed the info about the 1994 DVD in the other thread. Thanks for guiding me there. Looking forward to more information from you about all the releases.

Help please!!!

Today I just got my 2 Univive sets. It's been amazing to listen to it having some good quality item in my hands. So I looked for the prices of other releases if, eventually, I'd be looking for more. I found this:
Here http://www.psfmm.com/product/10987

What is THIS?  :o
Could anyone tell me what it is about? Is it a box set? Is it some kind of Univive best of?

The price is very high but it seems there would be 11 CDs in total, from different sources.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks for the information natsukas! So if I understood well, they offer to pre-order the whole set of them for 26 000 Yen. Is there nothing more about it, like, say, a promotionnal offer - bonus disc for example?

Hi,
Sorry sometimes that's easier to reply with his native language...My english is sometimes approximative, that's not a nationalist act  :)...Just wanted to save some time to reply as clear as possible to bzl .

There's no offense here , maybe  you want to keep control on every word, anyway I thought  most people knows all about the subscription now.

I was just telling a book should be given as a bonus when you have purchased the Rallizes subscriptions (limited to 100 copies).
The 2 first sets should be issued in july and then after the 2 last  two in september-october.

Apologies to all, will write in fr-english  in the future, I agree this is not a place for private communication, hopefully music itself has no frontier.

But no idea when the 2 first sets would be available, as usual Univive announcements came out very early, they're always late.

Surely, it is within keeping with the Les Rallizes's aesthetic to adopt their patois ;)

Two of the four new releases on the Modern Music site are CD reissues of "Cradle Saloon" and "Great White Wonder." I guess if you buy them all they'll throw in a photo book or something.

They'd better compensate with the cost, repetition of material, delays and resulting
expectation with something pretty darn special... i'll peruse that little booklet whilst
i stand in line at the soup kitchen or to redeem my food coupons by which time the
economy shall have finally collapsed ....

...for 26 000 Yen. Is there nothing more about it, like, say, a promotionnal offer - bonus disc for example?

Could i suggest somehow to Univive a bonus disk (or two) of the (extended) improvisational
material also credited to the date and location of "Cradle Saloon" (Aoyama Bell Commons)
strewn and truncated throughout the 10-CDR boxes, some 90mins or 6 tracks....
