A couple of interesting things i came across today:

First, a podcast by the Japanese underground music writer Takeo Udagawa. Some rare things here by JA Caesar, Morita Doji, Tomokawa, Mikami etc.

Could be interesting if this turns into a series...

A great piece of Satie by Kosugi Takehisa and Shimada Riri, released on LP on the Strange Fruits label. Lots of rare Kosugi 1980s performance photos too.

And just in case anyone was wondering what Abe Kaoru's appearance in that Wakamatsu Koji was like, here it is:

Or what a pre-record debut Tomokawa Kazuki might look and sound like:

This Abe footage is mind shattering.  Beyond words exciting getting to see him in this kind of footage.

Further to the first entry at this topic, here:
http://noise.as/forum/index.php/topic,167.0.html

The link there shows a (brief) collaboration with Shizuka and Takashi Mizutani.

The description states that the video documents an event that was ultimately attended by the local constabulary
- something like Velvets' "Symphony of Sound"...?

Just around the corner, presumably with adequate sound-proofing, a recent excursion...

... maybe the only official record in 10 years of DJ Haino Keiji, is found on Tokyo Flashback 5.

And a pat on the back to whoever can identify just what Haino is spinning...

...what Haino is spinning...

Himself... The whirling dervish...?

Drums and sitar, perhaps...?
