The lovely Maki passed away in her hotel after a gig in Nagoya on January 17th.
She has crossed the red bridge, from which no one returns.

RIP

Along similar unfortunate lines, I read the news that Noma Yukimichi, drummer for Rallizes, passed away on Jan 15th. There was a rumor that he and Mizutani were talking about playing Rallizes shows, but sadly, no chance of that now, at least with Noma.

'70's ~'80's live performances of Maki have been compiled as a video doc and a (limited) box.

※  DVD  『浅川マキ がいた頃 東京アンダーグラウンド -bootlegg-』  TOBF-5660
Maki Ga Ita Koro Tokyo Underground

※ 10CD 『浅川マキの世界10枚組BOX自選作品集』                  TOCT-11251

Perhaps, some of that old footage linked above, now extant, turns up... ?
