UNIVIVE-022 RIVISTA REMASTER 20TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION 5-CD

Of course the accumulatory anticipation, sometime apprehensive, which attends a slated release from Univive Oriental Masters approaches some sort of methuselahian epoch having since passed when it was first announced.

This remaster limited to 200 copies enables for a tenth of the price for a collector to get an official:
'67-'69 Studio Et Live [SIXE-0101]
Mizutani / Les Rallizes Dénudés [SIXE-0203]
'77 Live [SIXE-0400]
plus a leaflet and as bonus disc of an early demo.

http://blog.jgarage.com/2011/03/post_175.htmlhttp://www.psfmm.com/product/12325 .

These were originally released in August 1991.  The Cable Hogue video came a year later (UV-03 perhaps ?)

The interim Phoenix Records has risen from the ashes Univive:
4CD-R Great White Wonder as a 4CD set and 5LP set;
2CD Cable Hogue Soundtrack as a 2CD and 2LP set.
As well... Blind Baby Has It's Mothers Eyes CD in CD and LP
and Heavier Than A Death In The Family CD as CD and 2LP.

Would anyone be up to/able to compile a list of Rallizes recordings that would be needed to have a 'complete' collection?
I know there is a lot of overlap...

And Coquille, thanks for your efforts in making the picture a little clearer!

.... list of Rallizes recordings that would be needed to have a 'complete' collection?
I know there is a lot of overlap...
In addition to this thread....  http://noise.as/forum/index.php/topic,78.0.html  "Denudes' cash-in-quick enterprise".
Detailed (to the point of confusion) dissection of Univive... other threads in the forum under "Music" covered Ignuitas
and Dead Flower labels.
The 10 x cdr box sets (released originally by Nanjo Asahito (La Musica label) fifteen years ago) have mostly edited
selections of material from 1967-1988 and complete recordings from 1993-1997 (excluding: Baus Theater 1993; Harajuku Gallery 1995 w/Shizuka; Mushroom 1994 w/Niplets).   eg. http://www.discogs.com/label/Illegal-Alien+Records
Some of the complete unedited concerts (like those sourced for the CDs and DVDs that have come out since 2005) are
from the collections of tape traders, some of which they have made available for download (the five coloured Cragale CDrs have been likewise obtainable).
It's spaghetti...
(below is some lost posts, mojibake infused)

January 22, 2008Here's a list since there's been some request for an updated discography.
Some of this material appeared before like in Nanjos LaMusica 10-CDR
items and reissued by Illegal Alien, etc.
Now, for the most part they have been  presented by Univive and Ignuitas sans edits.
That is,  with the cryptic interjections of tuning and other live ambiences
Univive has nice artwork; Ignuitas has stuff so awful one cant help but think it is
intentional , perhaps endorsing the supposed ambivalence of the initial authors
Furthermore, Ignuitas (even misspelled on their own releases,  not to mention
(the oversight?) of two different titles with the same cat#) releases the same
or  improved-in-one-way but worse-in-another material as Univive.
However, the recent Univive titles seem to cannibalize themselves.
Also, included are some short notes about bonus discs, etc.
and hopefully not a whole lotta ???? (mojibake)

I don't think it is wrong, but is sure does mean you're in for an expensive trip!

FYI, Univive is releasing a 14-CD box set of previous materials, including:
- Double Heads September
- Great White Wonder
- One More Night Tripper
- Mars Studio 1980
- Mars Studio

 ;)
