new PSF releases for June

There are a couple of upcoming PSF releases this month:

V.A. / Tokyo Flashback 6 (PSFD-169)
Sixth volume in the long-running, label-defining series. Introducing a whole range of psych groups from the Tokyo underground that few of us will have heard of. Including Ahobune, Kinky Pigeon, Hananoyouni, Onna, Yamashirube, Ainotamenishis, Retort Mandala, Genshi, Yakochu, Sarod, etc.
Due out on June 21st.

And on the same day:

Hideaki Kondo / Structure (PSFD-168)
First solo album by Exias-J leader.

Ace news. Thanks for the tip off. Is there a tracklist for Tokyo Flashback 6 anywhere? It doesn't appear on the PSF website anywhere yet. And am I wrong in thinking that the lineup seems especially devoted to less well known bands than previous TF releases? Not that it's a bad thing, especially if the Ainotamenishis track from their website is anything to go by. Plus, it will be nice to hear some more stuff from Yamashirube.

Aside from the groups I already mentioned, the only real known players on there are Masami Kawaguchi and Ogikubo Connection (a duo of Rinji Fukuoka from Overhang Party and Harutaka Mochizuki).

Is it Masami Kawaguchi solo, or in the New Rock Syndicate incarnation (or something else)?

ACE! I'm dead keen to get me a copy of this now. I saw Harutaka Mochizuki a while back and he totally blew me away.

The Kawaguchi track was flagged up as solo on the advance cdr I had, though the finished CD has it as the New Rock Syndicate. Either way, it's a great and raw band track - gtr, bass, drums, vocals.

Not sure if many noticed, but there's a very worthwhile cdr by Mochizuki on the Volcanic Tongue label that came out a few weeks back...
